Our Difference

The Pittsburgh Roots difference is our combination of experience and patient-centered focus. With it, we can help you get back to your roots. Your natural smile is the best smile.

After years as a partner in a large group endodontic practice, Dr. Jeffrey Parker is bringing his Pittsburgh roots to his own boutique practice and putting the patient as the center of his focus.

Dr. Parker has been practicing dentistry since 2010, starting as a general dentist prior to specializing in endodontics at The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. As the sole doctor at Pittsburgh Roots Endodontics, patients are guaranteed to see a board-certified endodontist that has been voted a “Top Dentist” in Pittsburgh Magazine by his peers since 2019.

We understand that your oral health is a team effort, and we thank you for trusting us to be a part of your team. Through partnerships with referring Pittsburgh area dentists that have been fostered over the years, Dr. Parker and his team provide root canals and endodontic services that make sense for your long-term holistic dental health.

Proud to be Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.

What you think a root canal is…

Most people think of a root canal as a frightening, painful, and long procedure.

They think of a big scary doctor in a white coat hovering over them while drilling, whether they are ready or not.

They think of bright lights and sharp instruments being thrown around while they sit in the chair, mouth wide open, helpless with no control over the situation.

versus the services we provide

At Pittsburgh Roots Endodontics, we take a different approach to root canals. Dr. Parker is far from intimidating at just over 5 feet tall, with nimble hands to access the smallest of mouths. With his experience and expertise, he is able to offer minimally invasive treatment, in an efficient manner utilizing advanced technology. Patients will wear dark goggles, sit in plush dental chairs and listen to music to drown out the noise (and Dr. Parker’s jokes). Our patients will want to “root on” Pittsburgh Roots Endodontics to their dentists and friends as the best place to get a root canal in Pittsburgh!
